Past Projects

November and December 2007

This fall saw us complete a live album for Bryan Bayley and the Circus. Derek and I learned a lot with this project. It was also one of our larger live endeavours, recording 16 audio channels with over 3 hours of material. You can get a copy from any local Bryan Bayley show.

Spring 2007

We were incredibly busy this spring. There were two major recording projects in studio as well as some live events happening in and around Calgary.

One of our first projects this past spring was the Tim Buckley CD. He is a Calgary local, currently working on finishing his history degree at Mount Royal College. We recorded six original tunes, written by Tim. You can now find this CD at any of his shows. If you are looking for Tim while he is town you might try some of the local jams, particularly at A Bar Named Sue.

Wildrose X-Press visited us in the studio this spring too. We recorded their 5-piece band over several weekends in a "traditional" recording method. Basically we were recording the whole band live off the floor with only enough microphones to get the job done. It was an excellent experience for all involved. It also goes to show that where you have good musicianship you will also tend to have great sound! You can pick up this CD at any of their shows or by contacting them online at their web site.

We also kept busy with a couple live shows. We worked with the community of Acme and their talent night, as well as a show in Airdrie with Traced Image.
